Upon purchasing a challenging site in St. Joseph for their retirement aspirations, the Lydon's contacted Keystone Designs to create a home for them. The largest challenge is the difficulty of the site as it drops 50 feet from East to West. While trying to minimize the cost of construction through a thoughtful design, the owners wished to gain views over a few existing homes to their West. The result is a building that connects itself with the land as well as creating a presence and integrating itself into the existing neighborhood.
