The client came to Keystone Designs for a custom home design to replace the current home on the site. Located on Lake Michigan the existing home did not take advantage of the views to the water or the St. Joseph lighthouse. The replacement is comprised of three floors with around 3500 square feet of interior space. The first floor is set around 6 feet above grade and contains an airy and light filled living room, dining room as well as the gourmet kitchen. Bead board paneling, hardwood flooring and white trim work abounds as you travel to the top floor where a master suite awaits. With its commanding views to the lake, the owners will enjoy every sunset while sitting beside the fireplace.
